Massage Therapies $75 60 min
Deep Tissue Massage – relaxes the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons, and fascia. We sense the sensitivity of the tissue to ensure your body slowly but surely is ready for the work. It is a layer-by-layer process to get to the root of the problem and to provide you long-term results.
Swedish Massage – uses a system of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints. Used primarily for a full body session, it promotes general relaxation, improves circulation, range of motion and relieves muscle tension.
Trigger Point/Neuromuscular Therapy – applies concentrated finger pressure to “trigger points”, which are painful, irritated areas in muscles, in order to break the cycle of spasm and pain. It is often used to deal with pain; full body or specific work.
Sports Massage – used primarily prior to, or following, athletic training or an event that loosens, warms, and readies the muscle for intensive use, especially when combined with stretching. Besides helping prevent injury, it can improve the athlete’s performance and endurance.
Prenatal Massage – shares many of the goals of regular massage — to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it’s also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.
Couples Massage $185 60 min
Couples Massage – Great for an anniversary, wedding, Valentine’s Day or just a day to be together. Both of you can enjoy the benefit and luxury of a massage session together. There are two massage tables and two massage therapists in one room. Swedish or Deep Tissue massage is available.
Specialty Therapies $95 60 min
CranioSacral Therapy – identifies and resolves dysfunction and relieves pain throughout the body, by improving the health and functioning of the CranioSacral system. This system includes everything that houses and supports the central nervous system. Similar to a symphonic conductor, it leads and regulates the performance of your body, making sure everything comes together and remains balanced, harmonized. It affects your physical activities, thoughts, memories, emotions, and your ability to resist disease. Sometimes your CranioSacral system gets thrown off balance by events of your life: physical pain, emotional upheaval, spiritual awakening, and trauma. When the CranioSacral system is not performing at its best, neither are you.
Energy Work – technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing by normalizing one’s life force energy. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, feelings of peace, security and well-being.
Reflexology – It is a therapy which deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way, a type of preventative maintenance. Reflexology is a serious advance in the health field and should not be confused with massage.
